We will collect you from your hotel in the central Old Quarter and proceed to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Gain insights into the biography of Ho Chi Minh and his pivotal role in shaping the country as it stands today. Explore Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Bat Trang pottery village (available on Mon, Wed & Fri) or enjoy an equivalent program. Alternatively, on Tue, Thu, Sat & Sun, we'll visit the Ethnology Museum to delve into Vietnamese ethnology and its rich diversity.

Next, we'll visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, before returning to the Old Quarter to stroll through its charming and historic 36 streets, each with its unique name and origin, encapsulating the essence of Hanoi's past and present. The tour concludes around 5.00pm, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the city's distinct ambiance.

The Water Puppet Show, originating as entertainment for flooded fields in the 11th century, has evolved into an art form that reflects Vietnam's cultural heritage. Today, it portrays tales of harvests and water-related myths. Following the show, we'll return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hanoi.

En route, pause at Linh Ung Pagoda to admire its towering 220-foot (67-meter) Bodhisattva statue. Next, explore the Thien Hau Pagoda followed by a visit to the bustling Chinatown, a unique enclave where bilingual signs and communication reflect the cultural blend of Chinese and Vietnamese influences. After enjoying lunch in Saigon, journey northwest to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a remarkable testament to the Vietnam War. These tunnels, stretching over 200 kilometers and constructed by hand, served as crucial hideouts for Vietnamese guerrilla forces during the conflict. Prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex housed nearly 10,000 troops, underscoring its strategic significance. Today, it stands as a poignant reminder of the intensity of the war.
